Planned Power Outages Scheduled for November 26 and 27 for Electrical Maintenance

Temporary power outages are scheduled for the Riverside area in Ponoka this week (weather permitting) for electrical maintenance at the following locations and time periods:

  • Wednesday, November 26 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
    • Three properties on the east side of 38 Street, north of 41 Avenue and south of 46 Avenue.
  • Wednesday, November 26 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
    • Two properties on the east side of 38 Street, north of 46 Avenue.
  • Thursday, November 27 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
    • Properties on the west side of 38 Street, north of 40 Avenue; 
    • Properties on the east side of 39 Street, north of 40 Avenue; and
    • One property on the east side of 39 Street and west side of 40 Street Close, north of 40 Avenue.

Please note that not all properties in these areas will be affected. Please see the attached maps below of the affected properties (please click on the images to enlarge the maps):


Affected properties have been notified by hand-delivered notices. Please check your front door or mailbox for a notice if you are in the affected area. 

Notification of the power outage has also been sent to properties that are subscribed to the Town of Ponoka App and Notification Service.
