Temporary Water Outage for Some Properties in the North End of Ponoka
***Update: Water Has Been Restored. The Town of Ponoka is asking residents of the affected properties to please run a tub full of water to remove any of the cloudiness from the water. The water is safe to drink. Thank you. ***
The Town of Ponoka is working to restore water service following a temporary water outage that is affecting some properties in the north end of Ponoka (along 58 Avenue, between Highway 2A and 52 Street).
The water outage may be related to a watermain break in the area which the Town is working on repairing.
The Town is investigating to confirm the cause of the outage. Water service is expected to be restored within the next few hours.
