Town of Ponoka Facility Hours - Boxing Day

All Town facilities will be closed starting at 12 p.m. on December 24 and all day on December 25, 26 and January 1. Throughout the holiday season, Town facilities will be open regular hours on all other days.
The Ponoka Arena Complex and Ponoka Aquaplex will offer special programming throughout the holiday season. To view these schedules, please click on the link below.
Curbside Waste Collection
All collection days that fall on a statutory holiday will still receive service on that day, with the exception of Christmas Day.
If you live in Zone 2 and your regular collection date falls on December 25, please place your grey carts for garbage and green carts for compost at the curb by 7 a.m. on December 26. Waste collection will occur on December 26 or December 27.
Please note: Our contractor E360s is collecting waste for two zones on December 26, so there is a chance they may not get to all households in those two zones until December 27.
