Planned Power Outage Rescheduled to May 13 for Electrical Maintenance

Due to the rainy weather expected throughout the morning, the temporary power outage that was planned for today has been rescheduled to tomorrow (Tuesday, May 13) from 8:30 a.m. to about 10 a.m. (weather permitting). Properties affected by the power outageClick on the image to make it larger.

The planned outage will affect properties along the following streets as crews conduct electrical maintenance (click here to view the map):

  • Between 51 Street and 50 Street; and
  • Between 59 Avenue Close and 60 Avenue (north and west of the Kinsmen/Kinette Park ball diamond).

Affected properties have been notified by hand-delivered notices. Please check your front door or mailbox for a notice if you are in the affected area. 

Notification of the planned power outage has also been sent to properties that are subscribed to the Town of Ponoka’s App and Notification Service.
