The Town of Ponoka is pleased to announce that drop-in sports programs at the Ponoka Arena Complex will continue into the fall. This extension of programming allows citizens to continue enjoying the following sports and activities on the curling rink surface and the outdoor rink (weather permitting) at the Arena, to help ensure a fun and active fall season:
- Basketball
- Volleyball
- Soccer
- Floor hockey
- Lacrosse
- Badminton
- Pickleball
Equipment will be available for use; however, individuals can also use their own equipment. Children under the age of eight will require direct supervision from a person 16 years or older.
To access the drop-in programming, citizens can purchase a single-use pass or a 20-visit punch pass for the Arena. Alternatively, a Recreation Pass will give users access to all drop-in programming at both the Arena and the Ponoka Aquaplex (including swimming, water fitness classes and racquetball).
