Ponoka’s Annual Christmas Light Display Kicks Off Tonight in Lions Centennial Park
Ponoka’s annual Christmas light display at Lions Centennial Park will light up for the season tonight. Thanks to another generous $5,000 donation from the Ponoka Lions Club, the light display is bigger and brighter than ever again this year.
In fact, this year’s display features more than 500,000 Christmas lights and will run until the end of February.
“The Town of Ponoka would like to thank the Ponoka Lions Club for their continued generosity with their donation this year. The Lions Centennial Park Christmas light display is truly a cherished tradition in Ponoka during the holiday season,” said Ponoka Mayor Kevin Ferguson.
"This festive light display not only brings joy and entertainment to our local residents, but also attracts visitors to our community. We encourage you to take your date on a stroll through the park and enjoy the beauty of the light display,” he added.
