Temporary Road Closure on 54 Street in Ponoka

There is a temporary road closure on 54 Street (between 48 Avenue and 49 Avenue) in Ponoka as crews work to repair a water main break in that area. The road will remain closed until the work is completed. 

The water main break is impacting water service to Bright Futures Play Academy and the Wolf Creek Public Schools Transportation and Facilities Department at 4900 54 Street. No other properties are affected. 

Pedestrians and motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible. Motorists are reminded to drive with caution and observe road signs.
