How You Can Prepare Your Street for a Clean Sweep
- Watch for community advisory signs, which are posted 48 hours in advance to give residents notice of when street sweeping is scheduled to occur in their neighbourhood;
- Please move parked vehicles from roadways on which ‘no parking’ signs are posted. This is a requirement under the Town’s Traffic Bylaw 388-17 and may result in fines and towing of the vehicle at the owner’s expense if needed;
- Please remove basketball nets, driveway mats and any on-street obstructions;
- Sweep any dirt or debris on your driveway or sidewalk into the gutter in advance;
- Street sweeping will not occur on your waste collection day. Please roll out your carts and bagged recycling as you normally would; and
- Do not park on the street until ‘no parking’ signs have been removed.
