Planned Power Outages Scheduled for December 2 and 3 for Electrical Maintenance

Temporary power outages are scheduled for the Riverside area in Ponoka this week (weather permitting) for electrical maintenance at the following locations and time periods:

• Tuesday, December 2 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
  • Properties on the west side of 38 Street, south of 48 Avenue; and 
  • Two properties on the east side of 38 Street, south of 48 Avenue.
• Wednesday, December 3 from 1:15 to 2:45 p.m.
  • Properties on the west side of 42 Street and east of 43 Street in between Highway 53 and 40 Avenue.
• Wednesday, December 3 from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m.
  • Properties on the west side of 42 Street, south of Highway 53.

Please note that not all properties in these areas will be affected. Please see the maps below of the affected areas: (please click on the images to enlarge the maps).

Affected properties have been notified by hand-delivered notices. Please check your front door or mailbox for a notice if you are in the affected area. 

Notification of the power outage has also been sent to properties that are subscribed to the Town of Ponoka App and Notification Service.
