Join the Town of Ponoka Community Enhancement Committee
The Town of Ponoka is inviting applications for the Community Enhancement Committee, an Advisory Committee to Ponoka Town Council. Application deadline is October 23.
The Committee’s mandate includes:
- Strengthening and increasing recreational opportunities for Ponoka residents;
- Being a liaison and advising Council on matters related to the use of services, facilities, programs and special events;
- Receiving and reviewing capital requests for new and existing recreational facilities;
- Considering and recommending initiatives that support the Town’s growth and economic health; and
- Considering ideas that enhance and redevelop downtown Ponoka while maintaining its historical significance.

Committee members are required to follow the Town Council Appointed Boards and Committees Code of Conduct Policy. A copy of the policy and Code of Conduct are available here and at the Town Office.
