Sponsor a Christmas Tree for the Holiday Light Display at Lions Centennial Park

Crews Are Decorating Lions Centennial Park this Week

Join in the magic of Ponoka’s Christmas light display at Lions Centennial Park and help support this cherished community tradition. The Town of Ponoka is inviting individuals and organizations to sponsor a Christmas tree in one of the largest holiday light displays in central Alberta.

By sponsoring $1,500, you or your organization will receive a prominently placed recognition sign in front of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree throughout the duration of the light display. To become a sponsor, contact the Town of Ponoka at 403-913-4574 or email jennifer.brown@ponoka.ca before Wednesday, December 10.

Thank You to Ponoka Lions Club for Generous Donation

The Town would like to express a huge thank you to the Ponoka Lions Club for its generous $5,000 donation to support the light display again this year.

Crews are beginning to string more than 500,000 Christmas lights at Lions Centennial Park this week for the annual holiday light display. The light display will run until the end of February, giving our community and visitors several weeks to enjoy the magic and beauty of the holiday lights.

The official ‘light up’ day for the display will be announced in the coming days here on the website and on the Town’s social media pages once crews have finished decorating the park.
