Community-Wide Garage Sale Planned in Ponoka for July 18 to 20

Ponoka residents are invited to host a garage or yard sale as part of the Town’s annual Community-Wide Garage Sale event during the weekend of July 18 to 20. This town-wide event is an opportunity for residents to sell unwanted items and explore new-to-you treasures throughout the community.

To participate, simply set up your own garage or yard sale at your home. Although the event will take place from Friday, July 18 to Sunday, July 20, you can choose to set up your garage or yard sale on one, two or all three days.

Advertise Your Garage Sale on the Online Map

The Town of Ponoka will create a Community-Wide Garage Sale map again this year. To enter your garage or yard sale onto the online map, please email recreation@ponoka.ca or call 403-783-0131. 

Please provide the Town with your first and last name, physical address, and the dates and times of your garage sale no later than Friday, July 11, 2025. The map will be posted here the week of July 14.

Residents are also encouraged to post their garage or yard sale on the outdoor bulletin board at the Ponoka Arena Complex (4410 54 Street). 

“We are excited to host the community-wide garage sale event for the fourth year in a row. This event is a lot of fun for our community and also draws visitors to Ponoka,” said Mayor Kevin Ferguson.
