Town of Ponoka Waste Collection Services in Zone 3 Will Resume on Tuesday, January 16

Town of Ponoka residents in Zone 3 whose green carts and grey carts were not collected last week due to the extreme cold, will see their waste collection services resume tomorrow on Tuesday, January 16.

For those residents in Zone 3, January 16 will be an extra collection day this week for the pick up of household waste in their grey carts and compostable waste in their green carts.

On Friday, January 19, which is the regular waste collection day for Zone 3, those residents can also set their recyclable materials at the curb in clear or blue transparent bags for pick up.

When placing carts at the curb for waste collection, residents are asked to please make sure that cart lids are closed or they may not be emptied. Please note: you are responsible for picking up any waste that falls out if your cart lid is not closed when the automated arm empties the cart into the truck.
