Unable to Attend the CP Holiday Train Event Today?

The Town of Ponoka will be livestreaming this event on its Facebook page.

The Holiday Train will arrive in Ponoka at about 4 p.m. and will feature a live concert by Magic! and Sofia Camara from about 4 to 4:30 p.m. The event is free to attend. 

Citizens are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation for the Ponoka Food Bank if able. 

Temporary Road Closure Planned for Holiday Train Event

There will be a temporary road closure in downtown Ponoka today for the Holiday Train event. The road closure will be on 50 Street between 47 Avenue and 49 Avenue from about 3:30 to 5 p.m. Motorists are asked to please drive with caution and observe ‘No Parking’ signs and barricades.
