Emergency Management Training Exercise Scheduled in Ponoka on February 15

Please be advised that there may be an increased number of municipal public works vehicles and emergency vehicles (without their emergency lights activated) moving throughout the community and parked at various locations around town on Thursday, February 15. If you notice this happening, please be assured there is no cause for concern. The Town of Ponoka is hosting an emergency management exercise on Thursday for training purposes which will involve protective services and public works vehicles. 

 If, however, the emergency vehicles have their lights flashing, please pull over safely to the side of the road until they pass, as they are engaged in an active emergency response. Thank you.
