Emergency alerts

Through the Town of Ponoka app, you will receive alerts in the event of a large-scale, local emergency that may require immediate action to keep people safe and protect property.

In the event of a large-scale local emergency in the Town of Ponoka, alerts issued through the Alberta Emergency Alert will also be pushed through to the Voyent Alert notification service and app. You may receive emergency alerts twice (from the Town app and Alberta Emergency Alerts), but this ensures you stay well-informed during an emergency.
