Traffic Notice – Temporary Traffic Disruptions Expected in Ponoka on February 10

Between approximately 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. tomorrow, February 10, there will be temporary traffic disruptions in Ponoka along the following route due to a funeral procession:

• 46 Street from Sonrise Christian Reformed Church north to Highway 53; and
• Highway 53 from 46 Street through the intersection at Highway 2A, and continuing west out of town to Crestomere.

Police will be on site directing traffic at the intersections of 46 Street and Highway 53 and at Highway 2A and Highway 53. 

The funeral procession will include a large number of tractors, pickup trucks and other vehicles. 

Motorists and pedestrians are asked to please avoid these routes if possible and expect delays if you are travelling in the area. Thank you.
