The annual Christmas light display at Lions Centennial Park will be bigger and brighter than ever this year. Thanks to a $5,000 donation from the Ponoka Lions Club, the light display will expand once again this year. In fact, the actual number of Christmas lights will double compared to last year.
The Christmas light display at Lions Centennial Park is scheduled to light up by Friday, December 9.
At that time, citizens will be able to take a stroll and marvel at the beauty of the tens of thousands of festive lights throughout the park. The light display will continue throughout the winter until the end of February.
