Enter Your Float in the Santa Claus Parade

Join in the fun and enter a festive float in Ponoka’s Santa Claus Parade, which takes place in Downtown Ponoka on Friday, November 15 at 5:30 p.m. The parade is free to enter, and it’s a great opportunity to promote your business or organization and be seen throughout the community.

To enter your float, please click here and click on ‘Enter your Float’. The Town of Ponoka will be accepting float registrations until Thursday, November 14.

 All floats will meet at the Ponoka Arena Complex (4410 54 Street) on Friday, November 15 at 4:30 p.m. The parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. and wind through downtown Ponoka:

• Along 54 Street;
• East down 46 Avenue; 
• North on 50 Street;
• West on 51 Avenue
• South on 51 Street;
• West on 48 Avenue; and
• South on 54 Street back to the Arena.

Decorating Your Float

The Santa Claus parade features holiday-themed floats festively decorated by local businesses and community groups. The floats are adorned with colourful lights, decorations and lively holiday music, setting the night aglow with a festive treat for the senses. 

Please do not invite Mr. or Mrs. Claus to ride on your float, as the Town of Ponoka is already making arrangements for Santa to appear in the parade.
