Why has access to 54 Street along Highway 53 been closed?
Following a safety assessment of the intersection by Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors and the Town of Ponoka, safety concerns were identified due to the limited sight lines at the intersection. To address this issue, access to 54 Street from Highway 53 has been closed.
