Temporary Water Service Interruption on 60 Ave

**UPDATE: Due to complications with a water connection install, the water service interruption will continue for the next 24 hours as the water main is cleaned and flushed. Town staff will be distributing drinkable water to those affected. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Please note that showers will be available to affected residents at the Ponoka Aquaplex (5315 46 Avenue).

Water service will be temporarily shut off on 60 Avenue this morning from 50 Street about halfway up the block west toward 51 Street and on 50a Street from 60 Avenue about halfway up the block north toward 62 Avenue.

Crews are connecting a new property to the watermain in that area. Water service is expected to be restored by Noon today.
