Pre-Election Candidates Information Night

Interested in running for Town Council in the October 18 election?
The Town of Ponoka is pleased to host a Pre-Election Information Night.
During this information session, you will learn more about:
• Role and functions of Council
• Time commitments
• Overview of Town services and structure
There will also be a question and answer period.
A keynote speaker, Wayne Rothe, a former Councillor for 26 years in the City of Spruce Grove, will share his experiences and perspectives on the role and commitments of Council and also provide an overview of candidate responsibilities and commitments leading up to the election.
Due to limited capacity for this event, we ask that those wishing to attend pre-register by Wednesday, September 15 at 1 p.m. with the Town by contacting Legislative Services at (403)783-0130 or by email at legislativeservices@ponoka.ca
