Town of Ponoka Christmas Tree Pick Up Begins

The annual pick up of compostable Christmas trees will start on Monday, January 23.
The Town will make one pass down each back alley to collect compostable Christmas trees.
All trees must be placed outside for pick up by end of day on Sunday, January 22.
If there is no back alley, compostable Christmas trees should be placed in front of the property near the curb.
Please note that weather conditions can delay Christmas tree pick up, as Town crews may have to divert their attention to snow and ice removal.
Citizens can also participate in the Christmas tree program by taking their trees to the Waste Transfer Station to be composted free of charge.
