Credit Card Property Tax Payments Using Option Pay

The Town of Ponoka now accepts credit card payments for property taxes through Option Pay – a third-party service provider that processes online credit card payments for a fee. You can access Option Pay by clicking the brown box, or go to the Option Pay website by clicking here.

Tiered Transaction Fees

Option Pay collects a processing fee from each transaction for use of services. The processing fee is based on tiered transaction rates and is administered through Option Pay for use of service. The fee is not collected or received by the Town.

Security Information

Option Pay provides security measures for customer information. The Town of Ponoka accepts no liability in the event of security breaches, technical difficulties, or other issues that may arise during third-party transactions.

Refunds/Cancellations

The Town can process refunds if necessary; however, we can only refund the fee portion of the payment if requested on the same business day that the payment is made. If it’s the next business day, the fee refund would have to be disputed directly with Option Pay.
